Designed specifically for the new Olympic discipline KAYAK CROSS (CLSX) are the Laki Extreme Elite kayak blades.
Complying with the ICF rules for 2024 for KAYAK CROSS, these elite carbon blades have black aramid seam tape along the whole length of the blade edge. This ensures the required minimum thickness of 5mm and radius of 2.5mm and also provides reinforcement of the edges and resistance to abrasion.
These blades are specifically designed to be both strong and safe for this high paced contact sport.
We put the K1 NO SLIDE shaft into production in 2021 after two years of testing. This 100% carbon prepreg shaft is designed and dimensioned for slalom kayakers. It is the first shaft in the world which has a non-slip surface, which guarantees a better grip and reduces the possibility of the shaft slipping unintentionally in the palm of your hand. The pole is suitable for slalom kayakers who want the best.
The USA connector is a carbon coupling kit with an aluminum clamp. This handy piece of kit is used to quickly connect or disconnect the two halves of the kayak paddle. Not only can you split the paddle in half which is super handy for travelling, but you can also alter the length and feather of the paddle. The USA connector gives up to 10cm adjustment in length, which is marked clearly on the carbon tube. The feather / angle scale is marked in 5 degree increments. The USA connector is particularly suited to expedition paddles to allow for splitting and handy storage, test or club paddles (where several people will share a paddle) as well as being perfect for growing teenagers. To ensure longevity of this piece of kit, it is important to handle the aluminium clamp with care.
